Lynn Ellis

Lynn is the co founder of eEvents Group, Houston’s award winning event planning and production and association management company. Lynn is a native of Scotland, with over 20 years experience in the design and event planning world. She has worked in the couture fashion industry in Europe, U.S. and the Far East, owned a gallery and design studio in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and has received several awards for event planning. She combines an international flair with business and marketing skills to create exceptional events. Lynn’s distinctive concepts, organizational skills and forward thinking approach to all projects makes e-Events Group the perfect outlet for her training, talent and business acumen.

Julie Dokell

Julie Dokell, a CPA, graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas with a double major in economics and accounting.

Julie has served as President on the boards of The Women's Home and the Women's Home Auxiliary. Julie has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Houston Area Women's Center, and has served on the vestries of both Palmer Episcopal Church and The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany.

In 2007, Julie entered into a partnership with long-time friend, Lynn Ellis. Together, they formed e-Events Group. Julie serves in a management and business development capacity within the company.

In addition to her work on both the Board and the Outreach Committee of ECHOS, Julie has gone on the Board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Advisory Board of the Virginia Theological Seminary, and the United Way of Greater Houston's Women's Initiative and will participate in their Community Investment Process for 2010. Julie continues on the AFP's committee producing its 2010 "Ask The Expert" day - long seminar with over forty speakers.
